Web 3.0 : relationship case vs business case
Web 3.0 : requires an understanding of a “relationship case vs business case”. Does it not?

Comment to Stefano Bellanda’s Post
The following presentation reminds me of Bill Gates’ entrepreneurial history (see The meaning of Bill Gates ).
Microsoft business idea was … ‘a personal computer on every desk and in every home’.
If Sophotec is aiming for .. ‘profit in every pocket’ .. as it clearly is .. shouldn’t we (Web Consumers) consider very carefully the damage we have suffered from failing to evolve as Web Users? I’m planning to investigate this possibility in two ways:
- through the use of this (work in progress) multiuser blog,
- by trying to have a message from the floor of an Institutional Round Table, to be held in Bologna on Nov. 29th, delivered by a representative of a Social Network, such as this or another one (to be identified).
The Web has been used so far to make a few clever innovators very rich.
However, the Web was not invented by a profit making organization.
After pondering a bit one might wonder if the following presentation shouldn’t raise one more question ..
Web2.0 Dilemma View SlideShare
… shouldn’t we (consumers) agree on a definition of what a (collaboration granting) relationship case could be, and use it as a conditional judgement .. without which we could not consider any (profit making) business case??
Would anybody contribute to wording a short definition of relationship case, similar to the Wikipedia provided business case (draft) definition, and highlight which keywords must be replaced by different keywords ..??
The purpose of a business case is to capture the reasoning for initiating a project or task. It is often presented in a well-structured written document, but may also sometimes come in the form of a short verbal argumentation. The logic of the business case is that, whenever resources such as money or effort are consumed, they should be in support of the business. An example could be that a software upgrade might improve system performance, but the “business case” is that better performance would improve customer satisfaction.
