Thanks to the spirit of their good-blues-making recipe, Dago Red bring around the world a bit of our Italy (the land of the Italians who STILL know how to think and behave, according to their own mind and feelings); watch and listen to this video where they perform Sorry Folks in the UK.

In Dago Red’s video there is a fine example of cultural and territorial linking (Abruzzo, Blues, UK); with the same spirit in mind even a guy from Bologna like me, who has been living since 1992 in a Mountain Community he loves very much, might ask:

1. what sort of relationship can be envisaged between the cultures belonging to the Comunità Montana Agordina and the Web?
2. what recipe would you propose for a performance of your own territorial culture on the Web?
3. how would you contribute to making that performance a good one?
4. …

The answer .. my friend … is blowing on the Web ;-) …

Any person from the Agordino based Mountain Community, willing to make her/his own voice listened to on the Web, while performing  her/his own cultural self, may now  consider the following opportunities:

1. make her/his voice, ideas and opinions heard in this Forum
2. comment this Blog and/or become one of its Authors,  writing about the making of a Web based community, with its cultural roots in the Agordino Dolomites
3. participate in structuring and managing a Community Management System (CMS)
   
4. contribute to the writing of the community traditional and proactive life documentary evidence, through Wiki pages, such as the one used for a recent Snowshoes and Web get together and the proposed template for a forthcoming initative, tentatively titled Blues and Agordino via Web

Miti e Leggende “I TRE CASTELLI MEDIEVALI DELL’ALTO AGORDINO”

Molti erano i castelli medioevali sparpagliati nella valle Agordina e uno di questi era quello dei da Voltago, che sorgeva nelle vicinanze della chiesa del paese. Il castellano morì durante una battaglia combattuta nel Trentino contro gli Ungari, e il feudo, per diritto, passò al figlio primogenito. Costui aveva anche tre sorelle minori che non avevano voluto scegliere la vita monastica, com’era uso per le ragazze delle famiglie nobili di quei tempi. A queste il fratello conte dei da Voltago assegnò in dote gioielli, bracciali, collane, posate d’argento, coppe dorate e un bel gruzzolo di monete d’oro e le mandò lontano dal castello. …
